hi, we will be setting of from cornwall 9.30, next stop exeter services at 11. leave there at 11.15 roughly. where would you join the a303? any know service stations?

I will join the 303 at the A37. Anyone know a suitable location in that vicinity?

Otherwise I can head east on the 303 and wait at the first Petrol Station

If your going to join the A303 from the A37 Podimore services is on that roundabout, next stop after that is at sparkford, either the little chef/shell garage, or the goldern archers resturant off the roundabout at the bottom of the hill, but a good tea stop is the layby at Willoughby Hedge juest before the A303/A350 junction

If anyone else fancies it I am thinking of taking a detour on route and trying to do about 25 miles of the journey off road.
Won't add more than a few miles to the trip dropping off the 303 and heading towards Shaftsbury.

don't mind really, but I am on Tourances? not sure what everyone else is on?
if its suitable for tourances and my complete wardrobe and most of millets

i think it will be easiest for us all if we all stop at the sparkford little chef/shell garage. should be easiest to spot!! anyone have any idea how far exeter services are to this little chef? in time if possible? i think its a bout 50 mile? so be there about mid day

We (Adrian, Sid, Cookieboy and I) are going to drop off the 303 and make for Gillingham then pick up a track that runs east to Salisbury and then a couple after taking us north up to Andover.
Haven't got a clue what their like, might be really easy or bleeding awfull.
