Holan Pannier Frame Fitting- Problem

Hi Guys

On my R1150 GSA

Just about to fit pannier frames (Holan ,bought off Roger Ardcap), fitted LH ok but come to fit the RH and the indicator fouls the pannier frame hoop.

Do you have to modify the indicator stalk to enable it to fit , if so whats the best way ?

Any tips or advice most welcome

yes, i got mine from Vern on here - you basically need to shorten the stems of the indicators

if vern hasn't got any left im sure someone else will otherwise it touratech which is normally the pricey option

Pannier problems

Tried shortening, removed plastic from stem piece , but the metal insert is in two pieces so cannot now re-attach, grrrr

Second , on the pannier , exhaust side , there does not appear enough room to fit the pannier mounting puck, fowls on the exhaust when fitted to pick up the bottom corner of the pannier hoop id

All in all having a bad time

this is my set up seems to be bigger gap on this between frame and exhaust



as for indicators i picked up a set of these for £15 they are a straight swap

Sorted , made some spacers up , now have a good gap between exhaust and frame and puck is on, all good , just waiting for a set of verns short stalks job done

you need shorter indicator body and you find them from R1150R (maybe and from else models) the GS have the bigger........
