is the hole on the w/c final drive the same size as the hexhead?

It would make sense if it was it would save BMW buying a different sized hole.

Same diameter however it is longer as my hub cover from my old bike is about 20mm short so doesn't fit��

Yeah what stevej said, tried putting my old hub cover in and its about 5mm short, going to geta longer bolt and maybe space it out with washers.

That's what I've done, 5-6 washers and a longer bolt! Finally got one over on BMW! Lol
Yeah, should have kept the sidestand foot and number plate sprayguard because it looks like they would fit.
Just the vario top box to fettle now.....

I think the hole is dead cool, why would anyone cover it up?
