Here and there.....
Decided this year to put the house in France up for rental. Not sure if anyone on here will be interested but thought I'd give it a go anyway. If your not looking for a family place but are doing a trip and looking for a base outside of the main peak holiday time,I would be happy to rent for a few days. The roads around this part of France are fantastic. The position of the house is perfect for riding down to the pyrenees, a few hours to millau and easy to get to the Med.
PM me if interested or want any info.Cheers for looking:thumb

Looks like a lovely place. I've spent three holidays not far from Touffailles (Laroque-Timbaut) and it is a lovely area. Pretty much unspoilt by bloody British holidaymakers! :D

Nice roads all around, good scenery, bastide towns, Cahors wine... I'll even sell details of the best steak with a view you'll ever have, and the best value menu de jour in the prettiest village you could ever imagine, with a sensational biking road nearby too.

We are to the East of you by about one hr. Looked at the website, can you tell me where the lake at Montaigu de Quercy is situated? Is it easy to find as we would like to give it a visit this summer? We usually pop up to Lac Vert at Catus but would like a change now and then. Very nice house BTW.
Regards
Andy

Hi Andy,
If you come into Montaigu de Quercy from the East you will see the sign for the lake just as you enter the village. Very easy to find, you can't miss it :thumb Also has a decent bar/restaurant there too.:beerjug:
