Is there going to be people bringing vans/cars that can used to store gear whilst we are out?

Hi Jarv

I was hoping to make this last minute and be tagged onto a team but life will be getting in the way!!

Anyway I hope you and the like minded riders have a great day out.

As you have gone to all this hard work finding these waypoints and the tracks to get to them I wondered if you would pass them on after your are finished as they would be good targets to ride to for a day out. I would be happy to donate to you chosen charity to cover the time you put in. If any thing it will give me some practice for when you organize the next one!:thumb

Let me know and I will hopefully see you at the next Thames Valley meet.

Cheers

Titch

The roadbook doesn't provide a route as such, it would only give you waypoints that identify the lanes. However I do have a full GPS track of the fastest route round all of the lanes. I'm sure we can come to some arrangement :D Send me a PM after the event....

RVP confirmation

Guys,

as the weather looks good for tonight and tomorrow (Phew!!!) we will stick with the original RVP point as sent to you all on email.

If anyone is missing the details please PM me or send email to [email protected].

See you all in the morning; I will be there from 7:30am, call me if you have trouble finding the RVP; although to be honest of you can't find the RVP you don't stand much chance of finding any of the good stuff tomorrow!!! :blast

it was good while the bike lasted. Sat outside a nice pub in shackleford having a few pints waiting for recovery!!
Wheel bearing gave up big time.

Cheers for all the work gone into organising the day.

Sorry to hear of your early retirement; at least you didn't have to ride it home!

  • Tough luck for darkhorse and his wheelbearing
  • My bike now in garage
  • Trailer in shed

I've had a shower and am absolutely bolloxed!

But a big 'up' to Simon and Simon for putting on a great day!

Now where do I collect our prize ...... ?

I think one of the Simons said they would send the wooden spoon to you.:nenau

What was your score again????

Big thanks to Simon and Simon, it was a great day that must of taken a lot of organising :clap:clap:clap

I managed to get sacked from my team for soaking the road book so much that some of our answers dissapeared and we had to go back and do them again..........and then I plotted two of the waypoints incorrectly so we were looking for 3 waypoints in one lane :blast

I also snapped my number plate off, bent my gear lever into an 'S' shape and scratch my nose on a bramble :(

So well done to Pinkytiff and Adventure Stu for winning and letting me follow then around :D

Cheers

David

Snapped your plate again? You must be keeping Halfords in business through the recession :augie

Great day out. Nicely organised by Simon & co. Thanks :clap:clap !!

Heres a piccy of my 1200 stuck in the mud, standing to attention all by itself; wasnt funny trying to get that heavy fecker out with just two of us ! Was a case of tip it over and drag it...

This time it was purely down to my shitty repair, so the plate stay intact - just need to find a way to get it on the bike in a permanent way :D

Simon and Simon
