Already looking forward to next year!!

Thank you again

Summer Fun

Gotta say well done to the two Simons for putting together a really interesting & varied route. :thumb Really enjoyed it and managed to round it off off by a first ever win of anything on a bike - or pretty much anything else come to think of it!

Had a very welcome beer at the Swan afterwards, shame folks had to get off and dip out of a round

Does this mean we get poll position for the next one Si. :mmmm

No Pics I'm afraid but if anyone wants a more leisurely jaunt around the area give me a shout ok :)

Great day out. Thanks for all the work involved in organising it.

I ended up in that swamp too. There were 2 ruts in the swamp, Rob was in the right hand one, I took the left and it came over the mudguard on the X-Challenge

Not before we'd taken an already sopping roadbook off you

Dave you can take solice from the fact that even if nothing else you are good for morale. At one point I was giggling like a schoool kid at the state of your bike, camelback mounted number plate and that plaster on yer snout :D

Thanks again to the Simons' for the obvious effort. :thumb2 Thoroughly enjobale day, although next time can the roadbook be put in numerical order :nenau

Husband and wife team Ben and Louise Pope

Thanks to all of you for making the day a success; I'm glad you all enjoyed it.

One thing I forgot to do on the day was say a big thanks to Simon Titterton (Desert Rat) who helped immeasurably in the preparation for the event.

Anyone want to do another one sometime?

Jarv...

Ben, sorry for the mix-up... I just thought you'd got yourself an attractive young wife - doh!!!

Anyway good to see you both; glad you enjoyed it.

Simon

Yep, another big thanks to the "Simons" for arranging such a great day.

Have nearly managed to polish out all the scratches after dropping the KTM, new mirror and electrics now sorted!

I'm sure we would have won if we had'nt let slow coach Mr Master's tag along with us after Dave had to pull out!!!

Jarv...

I'll have you know I spent more time that ever getting the bike ready for this one, even had the wheel off the night before to change inner tube and bearings where ok then.
I don't support the ride over there helped. Without that I am sure I would have made it around.
Hey ho, these things happen
I think it's getting to that age now where where it's going to start costing more and more to keep running in a decent state.

anyway, I had a nice lunch and couple of pints waiting for recovery to pick me up
