has anyone made the above? im considering making some for myself for either homemade boxes or possible nice big soft canvas type bags to sit/hang on. any toughts welcome:thumb

I made some for my HP2 bloody excellent idea... get stuck.

mine where L shaped to support the luggage the Mk 13 is still in use, the rest failed quality inspections or where rejected due to certain safety issues discovered during testing.:blast

mate of mine tried the same - its not worth the hassle. touracrap have racks but expensive - have a look at holan racks " the doctor" on here has some and he is happy with them but must point out they look really wide but its because he has a remus silencer and not the standard silencer. the rack is cheap also:thumb

oh hepco &becker have some new aluminium panniers for the 1200gs might be worth a look???

thanks guys im absorbing all your comments.......just picked up a bit of work today fingers crossed, so my credit crunch frames may well be on hold. Its definatly looking more like a pair of shop brought ones at the moment. i know theres a polish company doing a pair of frames £180 delivered as a mates just ordered some. Maybe ill keep the homemade stuff for me MZ:D
