Honda CT125 Hunter Cub

Fitting sideracks seem as common as the issues that go with them! The rear rack itself is an excellent place to hang a bag from. This is an old video equipment bag giving about six litres of stowage for fuel containers/tools/wetweather gear etc with extra support from a couple of heavy duty reusable zip ties from the shoulder strap attachment points

I have no idea why this photo has turned itself through 90°!

Now matches the rear rack ;)

Peli case arrived today ... will fit it on over the weekend hopefully :D

Not decided which way to mount it yet. Lengthways or across. Either way there won't be much room left on the rack but I can strap stuff on top of the case, it's strong enough :thumb2

Room inside for my MacBook Pro ...

Looks very purposeful Micky.
A bit of jealously creeping in here. Mind, you could deliver parcels in return for beer tokens in your down time.

Your Trail is looking pretty nice there and that may be the first painted skid plate I've ever seen.

Always powder coated by skid plates :thumb2

XCountry

Don't ask me why .... maybe because I can :D

:beerjug:

Is there any way to devise a quick release fixing for a Peli case, or is it just the obvious- get the drill out and bolt it on?

PS, that X-country looks great.

Drill ... nuts and bolts I'm afraid!

Having said that, the rack on the CT125 Hunter has four threaded mounts ...

But I guess it depends on the size of the Peli case and the rack you're mounting it on. Wouldn't be difficult to have three or four 'captive nuts' on your rack, and bolts from the inside with wing nuts instead of a spanner or allen key!

I needed two mountings further forward ... so it's nuts and bolts for me :D

The Xcountry was one of the best thanks ... but sadly it had to go. Getting old is a fucker, but it's infinitely better than the alternative :rob

You’re right about getting old :rob. That’s why I’m thinking X-Country, it’s nice and light. And I like a 50BHP single, that was about the power of a Manx Norton:thumb

They must have been different horses back in the day .... the Manx would be much quicker than any G650X

LJK Setright .... you don't need more than 50BHP :D

You can see the bear's claw when the light falls right on the Hunter Cub side panel ... you don't see it while on the 'bike

I set the red oil temp light to 170° … stops it in it’s tracks!

Looks as though you avoided breaking any plastic hooks. What will you use the USB C for?
