Certainly does not..probably runs out of puff above 70mph, as it's only 59 hp?
yamaha make a DCT type gearbox ?Runs out of steam about 85, but I rarely go that high anyway, especially in our camera infested island. But I've now got an MT07 with the Y-Amt automated gearbox and apart from luggage carrying abilities, it's head and shoulders above in terms of performance. Still get 75mpg, but this will destroy an NC down a twisty road. 40kg lighter as well. Gearbox is way more clunky than the Honda but I'll take it
Sold it a few months ago.@magik had one for sale
It's not a DCT as such, as it's still a single clutch, not a dual arrangement. It's basically 2 servos that operate a quickshifter up and down, so it doesn't add much weight over a standard manual affair. Like most quickshifters, it smoothes out the higher the revs, so around town it's pretty clunky. You can have it in manual mode and change gear by using rocker switches on the left bar
