As long as you don't want to travel more than 40 miles away from home so you can get back without a recharge;; from the lights i bet it's impressive.
Yet it will charge from 20 to 80% in 30 minutes whilst you have a coffee at Starbucks
Hmm just like the car I sat in on a garage forecourt, waiting an hour and a half to get from 20-80%Yet it will charge from 20 to 80% in 30 minutes whilst you have a coffee at Starbucks
Agreed it won’t sell well in its current state. But they quote 20-80% charge times as you generally shouldn’t charge up above 80/90% on a regular basis or let it drop much below 20% to preserve battery life .They claim "average range" to be 87 so let's call it 80.
From 100% charge after driving around 60 miles in a little over an hour you pull up to a charging station and wait 1/2 an hour for it to charge up from 20% to 80% in order to be able to drive 48 miles when it's down to 20% again.
If it had at least 3 times the battery capacity that could be recharged from 20% to 100% in 1/2 hour I could see it working.
The local dealer brought in Kawasaki's battery Ninja and while some were curious not a single person showed a bit of interest to buy the thing. After over a year Kawasaki took it back and credited them.
The local dealer where i bought my SX from had one in that was stuck to the floor; now if it had been one of the fantastic 650's with a small supercharger and perhaps Ohlins and Brembo running gear they would'nt have been able to stock enough,; small light bike with plenty of power and exotic handling. The 650 twins at the Isle of man always go well. They claim "average range" to be 87 so let's call it 80.

Um maybe "sneer at change that's just for the sake of change which isn't ready yet." would be more accurate. Two nations that live in the past and generally sneer at change.
Are these the same designers that brought us these enormous 4x4s/SUVs/trucks that are an essential part of the school run?Current day automotive designers are to automotive aesthetics what architects were to buildings in the 60's and 70's i.e. fucking useless
Bit random? Are these the same designers that brought us these enormous 4x4s/SUVs/trucks that are an essential part of the school run?
You might think so, I couldn’t possibly comment.Bit random?
Problem is,in the U.K. it would be stolen before it was recharged.Yet it will charge from 20 to 80% in 30 minutes whilst you have a coffee at Starbucks
Good.Problem is,in the U.K. it would be stolen before it was recharged.
No wonder the uk is fucked when bike theft is welcomed !Good.
Wait till you have a scrote all in black come past you on the pavement at night at 40 mph on a surron or whatever they are.No wonder the uk is fucked when bike theft is welcomed !
People lumbered with battery bikes can use the insurance payout to buy one that will do more than 100 yards before needing a refill. No wonder the uk is fucked when bike theft is welcomed !
I always liked thoseI’m seeing this. And I never really liked that either….View attachment 444280
