honfluer and ww2 beaches

Tony,

Great pictures. :thumb2

I particularly like the photos of Honfleur Harbour, they remind me when I sailed to Honfleur in July 1990 on a Westerly Ocean Ranger.
The harbour was so full and overcrowded with people and boats we were rafted up about 8 to 10 boats deep. :eek
It was July 14th and Bastille Day celebrations with loads of Calvados :101 flowing and fire crackers going off.

Honfleur has not changed at all, I recall there was loads of people and a harbour full yachts :D

Excellent memories and thanks again for the great pictures. :aidan

now thats an adventure sailing to it :clap:clap souds great rd

Great pics, however our trip is off. We were going to bring 3 helicopters there, but the advent of new euro rules mean we won't be able to do it in the way we wanted. Bugger!

At least I get to see what I'm missing!

what ? with rockets firing and mini guns blazing :D
