Having taken mine apart (some time ago!) I now have nothing to refer to.
I've offered up the engine/transmission to the ST, in its new position, and it looks quite promising. However with a 25mm spacer between the gearbox output and the flange of the driveshaft the engine is 35mm forward of its original position! Obviously, since the engine and gearbox haven't grown since they came out, the culprit has to be the position of the shaft in the mono lever. Can anyone think of anything stupid I may have done in assembling this? I mean it looks simple enough! The central 'cross' of the Hooke joint is not on the same plane as the swing arm pivot and presumably it should be. Does this offer any clue? I'll take at apart again today and check everything butbI don't want to weld the engine mounts in until I know what the problem is.
