I bought a Magnum 80 horn, to replace the OE horn due to my near death incident a few months back on the M53.

I have looked at the OE horn and plan to remove it. However i dont want to chop the connector off? Is it possible to get a female connect section like the one on the horn, so i can make up a short jump lead to connect the new Magnum 80 horn.

I really dont fancy chopping wires. So help please?

The OE lead has a two pin connector, i assuming its Live & Negative.

Splice the cable and solder a jump wire in line, and leave the oe plug on.

Size..

The problem is, there is only around 4" of free cable.. and dont really fancy trying to splice the cable and solder/heat shrink.. in a confined space, butter fingeres here is likly to do some damage..

Was hoping there might be an easier way.. want to make up something to simply plug in the end of the eo connector.

Cut it off

Cut it off, connect the new horn and don't worry about it.

Worry about it when you sell the bike / If you have to buy a new connector so you just replace...must be pence only
