Any reason why you can't bung a fiamm air horn onto a 1200 - cheap and easly available being the reason I ask. I had one on my MZ and it was well loud - OI! as opposed to excuse me

The main snag would be finding somewhere to mount it, I think.

I've got an additional horn wired directly in parallel with the OE one, no problems. If you were going to use an air horn that draws a lot more current, the control unit on the bike would possibly object and cut the power. So using a relay switched by the horn circuit would be required.

A Stebel horn for about £12 from Nippy Normans is a straight replacement and LOUD!

try 1 half of the twin set up from a R1200RT, plugs straight in no problem.
