Yes it is the 1st May.
Not sure you're thinking of the right pub though. The meet is at the Horton Inn just north of Wimborne. I believe there's another near Chard.

I have been thinking that as there are only a few of us that make it to this meet most months would it be a good idea to post it on the Horizons Unlimited Hub site and see if we can build it up into something a bit bigger
You know the type of thing the once a month get-together were the main topic of conversation isn’t that you did a whole 50 miles on your bike last week without stopping and no a bike isn’t knackered just because it has 30,000 miles on the clock
What do you think if we start the ball rolling now by the winter we could have a nice little meeting up and going
