Hotel del Oso fully booked so…. Need an alternative

We stayed here last year as we couldn't get in Potes, Cangas de Onís
Lovely town, secure parking plenty of restaurants and bars.Basic hotel but nice enough, 2 min walk in to town.

Four of us stayed there in June last year. As you said, basic but nice. Friendly staff and the parking is excellent.

They give you a discount voucher for a place 2 minutes walk away called “Sidrería El Parque”, which did the best lamb I’ve had in my life. Went back a couple of times

For Llanes - we stayed in hotel Montemar in 2020. Was nice and had dedicated motorcycle parking in the barrier-controlled parking.

Was close to everything we needed. Over the road is a launderette too, which we found handy.

Parador at Fuente De, keep driving past the Del,Oso it’s at the end of the road.

Thanks for all the suggestions chaps, I’ve been off line at a family funeral all day today so will check the suggestions out tomorrow. For what it’s worth when I’ve been checking availability it’s been via the hotels own booking system and a follow up email to double check they really are fully booked.

We’ve booked the Parador. There’s a half board offer on so went for that too. And joined the Amigos scheme.
