A pal in the US does Vegas regularly , used to use the Venetian and we stayed there with them once , great hotel and the suite we had was fab'. Once we were up to a certain level in the hotel your room key got you into a more private elevator to take you to the floor where your suite was on and then it also entitled you to use a private lounge bar area on the same floor where between 5pm & 7pm you could make use of the free bar and nibbles , a great way to start your evening.
On 2 trips I have stayed in the Venetian , Mirage, Luxor & Sahara.....best to worst in that order....Venetian is fab. But my pal now prefers the Wynn next door rather than the Venetian for style & service.
Go to Maggiano's (in part of the Fashion Show complex )opposite the Wynn for a great meal .
