How about a Alloy wheel option for GSA's

A GS with cast wheels is so GAY, however this demise occurred in 2004 with the introduction of the 1200's

Spokes are best

Apologies didn't realise. I must have a big house as it's worth £300 lol. Guess the coating you had applied stays on permanent and is a material type that cleans easily. Worth considering as original finish is very hard to keep clean. Even after washing it doesn't return them to showroom condition

I don't expect it to ever get back to showroom condition, as I use my bikes all year round, but this certainly helps.:thumb

where did you say you got it done? I find cleaning the spoked GSA wheels a right pain and went so far as getting a quote for alloy wheels from the dealer [blows kisses to JohnnyBoxer...]. The insurance and re-sale headache made me stick with the spokes.

Note that I am not going offroad on the GSA [at least not on purpose].
 
Just read the info on their site and sounds interesting. Sounds easy to apply yourself and at £70 could be worthwhile alternative to struggling for the next 18 months that I'll be keeping bike. My main aim is riding all year round am not keen spending time on cleaning but I do like my bike to look good
 
Clean the bike thoroughly with SDOC100 then clean the rims with WD40 and a cloth. It's a pain but it works.
