How can I trace an Insurance Policy ?

I feel such a fool

Around May last year I bought a Honda Cub and can't for the life of me find out who the hell I unsured it with

I have two multi-bike policies and it's not registered on either of them. I've checked through my e-mails and CC statements and can't locate anything. I don't have any paper trail either so my questions is this

Is there an insurance database I can use/contact to locate my policy details?

I've done this too. After i checked on MIB, I did a search on my emails using the names of the most likely candidates. The answer was Bennett's.

Or check MIB when it expires, then go back a year and check your bank statement for a payment in or around that date to an insurance company.

If you've had no joy,call the insurance company you have a bike insured with and ask them to have a look for you.I did this and they told me over the phone who I had a bike insured with.

Check your bank statements online around the dates you think you purchased said insurance?

Just phone any insurer and tell em you want to make a claim

they'll have your policy and declination email out to you in minutes
