How can I transfer music from ipod to iphone?

I've got some music on an old ipod that would be great on my iphone 4 - is there an idiots guide to transfering this?

Isn't it just a case of syncing it with itunes and then doing the same with your phone to transfer

If i rememver correctly, when i first plugged my Iphone into the PC, it asked me if i wanted to sync Itunes to the new device. It then transferred the music to the phone.

fine if both devices were synced with the same pc. i suspect not, or the music on the old iPod would already be on the pc.

you need one of them programs that can extract files from iPods. others can advise on that better than i.

sharepod will get the music off the ipod onto computer and itunes onto the iphone
