How do I clean my laptop screen?

I've always used Mr Sheen and a duster on my desktop screen - comes up a treat.
Laptops, however are a lot different - what is the best/safest way to clean the screen?

Mr Sheen builds up a layer on the screen. I use glass cleaner.

A brillo pad get it nice and er.... perhaps not.... or perhaps screenwipes with a slight alcohol base....

Alcohol free fragrance free baby wipes do the job quite nicely.

OO and they feel nice on yer bum too

Warm water and Fairy Liquid

Use a clean cloth dampened with warm water and fairy liquid. Dry off with kitchen roll.

If you have used pledge or similar you may have to do it a couple of times before the smears disappear.

Gob on it {yorkshire for spit} then simply wipe it with your sleeve,,job done...

since my mate trashed his screen coating on a CRT by cleaning it, i only use proper screen wipes.

Best I have found are from Aldi they are cheap and work really well, proper lcd screen wipes
