How do I sink just some routes? How do I sync a track?

Here we go again! How do I sync just some routes? I've all my routes that I want to sync in a folder - can I sync just that folder? How do I sync tracks?

Select the individual route you want to sync and sync it. You cannot sync a folder of several routes all at once.

It helps, I think, if you create a bespoke folder for the trip and place the sync’d route(s) in it.

Or just sync your entire library. This you can do all in one go.

I don’t think you can sync a track, but someone who uses tracks a lot will know, I’m sure.

Tracks sync in the same way as routes they are identified by the highlighted icon.



FWIW I sync my entire library. It syncs incrementally so only changed routes get synchronised. The advantage is you can play about with your routes even if you have no WiFi or mobile coverage and they will sync back to the server when you have. Also I don't have to remember to do anything.....it just happens. The routes stored on your phone take up a miniscule amount of space in comparison to the offline maps. Even if you don't sync the whole of your library you can still access all your routes via the Route Lab (Web application) when you have 4g/5g or Wifi.

The app does not navigate tracks well when offline for some reason. I use OSMand+ for tracks which does.
