Question for you Richard, How do you get Google Street View when looking at a route in MRA?

=====

Good question, so I cut it from another post.

Here’s an example, finding a specific view, along an existing route. The method is the same just using the map, without a route.

Tap on:

Zoom in to the place you want to see:

Tap on the spot you want to see:

Then just use it as you would in Google. All MyRoute is doing is short cutting you into Google’s Street View.

I find it really useful. For example, the routing algorithm might sometimes route you down a little track, just to cut a corner, when it might be more sensible not to take the shortcut. Sometimes, I just use common sense and edit the route but sometimes I just go in to Street View to see if the algorithm suggestion does make sense to use. It’s also useful to sometimes see what parking might be like or where a cafe is. Google gets knocked a lot but their opening up of the world thro’ Street View (all for free) is a great gift.
