Why, d call him that, I thought it was a genuine question

All my wheelies have been accidents. After 100 yards I felt the handle bars were loose. Oh shit the front wheel is not on the ground. JJH

put it in dynamic ,rev to 4500 in first ,dump the clutch..... but my question is why ?

Ride, brake so that the front dips, then release the brakes and as it rebounds apply a bit of throttle. Disclaimer, any accident is your own fault.

This question should be moved to the Pub...wider audience with really good knowledge. You would love the comments :augie

I've been wheelying bikes of all sizes and styles since the age of about 13........practice practice practice ...don't try to rush it...don't practice infront of an audience.

Avoid the stupid wheelie schools, they teach you nothing that will be transferable to a bike without the ham-fisted Buffon proof safety cut off mechanism

Break a leg

Well it's a wheelie. Wasn't recently though.

Turn off the anti-wheelie control and accelerate hard in first or second whilst leaning back. Be ready to back off the throttle and apply the rear brake if the front comes up too far.

Be careful though, it's great fun and you may want to do it often but it isn't something the police approve of!

690 Enduros are fantastic for this and it's probably a good thing I no longer own one.

noice 250LC, I had a 350LC...LOVED that bike, didn't LOVE the three sets of pistons in one summer!!!! shifted it on for a VF400F

Was you wearing your sisters coat?

How rude. Jacket from my other bike. Could pop a few wheelies on that.

That was slightly tuned. Holed pistons twice. :blast

I'm sure there's a wheelie App available for the LC models.

Your best bet is to go and find a small rise (and fall) on one of your local roads. Use that to lift the front wheel. Most wheelies will start with a big transference of weight to the front (abruptly shut the gas and compress the forks) and then on gas as the springs in the forks rebound. Timing this throttle action of Off and On over a rise in the road will see your front coming up very easily.

Your telelever front end won't help you, because it doesn't dive under off gas.

I had a shot of an LC350 many years ago, would not idle at low revs, let the clutch out gently with higher revs straight onto the back wheel :blast

Spoke to the owner, and he said oh did I not tell you, it’s set-up to race at knockhill that weekend
