the glued on rubbery bits from removed balance weights? Have two sets on my spoke wheels and it looks tardy but I don't want to scratch or damage the wheel rims with anything abrasive.

Cheers

Eucalyptus oil........soak a cotton ball with the stuff and leave on the sticky stuff on the rim for a couple of minutes......then rub off. Works very well.

Bugg*r me but what a helpful bunch you lot are. So many choices. Not sure what to do now. Maybe I should start a poll and find out what the rest of the board think :D

Thanks again all (even the "pick it off with your finger" but I tried that. Bit of a tough spot to get to) :thumb:thumb:thumb:thumb

Well this will give me something to do on Thursday having booked a day off work to have a jolly out on the bike somewhere. I've looked at every weather forecast and it ain't lookin promising :blast

Oh well any suggestions as to what chemicals to use to polish the bike after removing the glue? Looks like I'll have some spare time.

Thanks again

Steve
