How easy to change colour?

I have a 2006 1200 GS in black.

How easy is it to take off the painted black bits so that i can have them painted white?

What is the paint code for the white that was used for the 2006 GSA's?

Am i better getting 2nd hand GSA white panals and putting them on?

Are they the same?

Getting the panels off is a piece of cake and is described (with pictures) in several threads if you do a search.

Can't help with the paint codes though - sorry.

Why would you need a paint code ? Just paint it a nice bright white. Your local body shop will steer you in the right direction.

I believe BMW refer to the 06 GSA as being Alpine White
