My 1991 model is using 250ml/500miles. I am wondering if I should get it `refreshed`?

I had a 91 660 tenere and that used oil...
About 500cc per 1000 miles sounds about the same...
You never saw any smoke from it mind you...
It had not done a lot of miles either...
I thought it was a good bike and one of the reasons i went for the new 660 tenere

Not necessarily a problem then. I will keep monitoring it to see if it gets worse. I really enjoy mine also!
