Two observations:

In the bike-for-sale link the OP mentioned, it was said that most of their builds are commissioned. Why then are so many ending up on eBay? Buyer backing out due to silly final prices?

Even one of the used parts sellers give a three or six month warranty on the parts they sell. I cannot see any mention of warranty in the bike-for-sale link the OP mentioned. Who would pay that much for something not rebuilt by a BMW qualified mechanic, and with no warranty? City bankers?
