How old is my helmet?

According to Arai there should be a label in the chin strap with the date of manufacture ... there is on mine, but the numbers don’t make much sense. Anyone got any ideas?

Last Arai I had, it was embossed in the leather part of the strap. Date format was MM/YY... Dunno if that helps mate...

Thanks for the link, can’t find anything that makes sense - the buckle has 012: engraved, can’t find anything else

The credit really goes to DC. I only looked it up in the table he posted. It is marked "O 12" O corresponds to 2015 and 12 is the month... I think.

Arai helmets are good for 7 years, not the normal 5 as per their website
