How tall are most GSA owners.

6'0".....31" inside leg; the previous owner had a chunk cut out of the riders seat which meant my knees were around my ears!!

Put an airhawk on shortly after I bought it & it stays on the bike.....job done :D
Mmmmm, yes that's the reason I wanted to get used to the bike with a standard seat. :-)

Exactly same height as you, but 32" inside leg. Spent the first year with seat in low position, then switched it to high position, which is more comfy. I dont think twice about the height now (had the bike 4.5 years) until I get on a 'normal' bike
Yes that's what I'm hoping for!

5' 8"; 31 1/2" inside leg. Kahedo standard height seat (same as the GS) on a GSA. I find the Kahedo/Touratech GSA height seat is more comfortable but just a bit too much of a stretch to the floor. I soon got used to the weight but previous bike was a 1/4 tonne Yamaha 900.

I struggle to pull the GSA upright with the standard length side stand so have a hockey puck extension. it's fine for 90% of the time but cambered roads can be impossible to park on. I climb on & off horse style with the side stand down so a "wrong" camber is not good if I can't back out.

If/when I do drop it, the bike is going down. Its too heavy to stop and too likely to cause injury, though I might slow it down a little.

Hi all
I've just bought a 2011 GSA with ESA and I love it.
It is however soooooo big :-0
I have the standard seat on the low setting. It did come with a low seat, but I'd rather get used to it before I go and fit the lower seat.
I am 5' 11 1/2 with a 31" inside leg.
I'm wondering if we could have some replies on others who ride a GSA at this height.
Many Thanks in advance.

Same as you mate, no problems here on standard seat on low setting :thumby:

I'm 5ft 11 but only 29 inside leg and manage fine never used my low seat and have the standard seat high at front.
The only problem I get us pushing the bike on loose gravel as I'm not quite flat footed

How much do you weigh?
I'm thinking this make a big difference rather than height as my bike sinks under my not inconsiderable bulk !

5' 8 1/2" 29 inside leg, I like the low seat, I can get both feet down to manoeuvre, but the bike is still ok on the standard seat, it's just that little bit of reassurance. The one thing, is the low seat is less padded, so longer journeys need more frequent stops.

:blast

5'10 with a 33.5" inside leg. Shouldn't there be a "how long is your inside leg" thread?:D

5 11" 33 inside leg.

Fits me fine with the standard seat in the low position (balls of both feet comfortably on the floor at a standstill). That said, I could actually do with the screen being an inch higher and I'm going to get some risers to pull the bars back an inch or so.

I've got a short arse mate who is fine on his GSA with a Sargeant low seat.

My legs are not long enough. :(

This morning I put my foot into a dropped drain cover and dropped the bike. I now have bruised foot, bright purple bloody bruise over left side pelvic rim and a shattered AF 330 screen.

Retracts arrived in the 1930s. These bikes also need landing gear.

Sent via iPhone so expect strange words

6ft 2in but 19 stone so when I sit on my GS it's quite low

My measurements are the same as yours - another tall long bodied person!
I use a low Touratech seat and get both feet on the ground no problem.
