How to delete virus without opening - help

my anti-virus has warned me one of my emails is a virus --

how do i delete it without opening it -- its in outlook express.


does this make sense -- remember i'm a complete dodo with computers.

and when you do get OE started, turn off Auto-preview

Can you not do a single click on the email then click the delete button.

If not, if your using Norton AV, open the AV manager and view the quauantined files and delete them from there.

with mcafee AV you can delete attachments from within the AV program itself so you don't need to go to OE.
