Not only does my 'non adventure have blue forks, it has a black engine & telelever, it has a automatic cleaning system too.....

Butler... your'e not sat in that chair supervising!

Wizard... you're right again :thumb

Lets face it bmw just build them with whatever parts come to hand mine has a black engine and a black telelever :thumb but its an 05 the last of the proper gsa's before they introduced the plastic gsa 1200 :barf only joking looks very pretty should sell well now i hear brad pitt wants to do a ewan and charley and ride round the world on a bmw so its bound to be the new 1200 gsa .

My ADV is fitted with standard 1150 Corbin seat, silver std rocker covers, std beak and std MRA vario screen for me it gives the best looks and best comfort, so apart from being a tad taller, blue forks  it's hard to tell what it is.

Which was partly the intention :thumb

....I thought that all ADV had those very specific engine bars? Have the ADV bars ever been (retro?) fitted to a standard GS?

The 2003 1150 adventure I'm picking up on Saturday :bounce1 doesn't have engine bars, it was supplied without them ? Are they deffinately a standard fitment ?

They may have been taken off and sold seperately. Some people don't like the look of crash bars.
I do know that BM will charge a lot of money for replacements.

Nope - mine came without from the factory - at that time at least (Mar 04) they were a pay-for-it-via-nasal-passages option.

P.S. It doesn't make any difference if you call if Advanture of Adventurer. The MOT station will still say "we've got you down as a Triumph" either way....

After getting the first set of head protectors from the mould, just have tocheck them before giving the go ahead for a run to be made - posted in the headguard thread.

What service parts ? - After some non-payments for filters, i now only supply brake pads. Oh, and stainless kits .
