How windy is it by you??

Lost a fence panel this afternoon which unfortunately meant that all the sheep in the adjoining field were free to enter my garden. I bravely hobbled out and wrestled with said panel which was no end of fun in the breeze. Wind seems to be dying off a bit now.

Well I rode the GS down to Romford today, a bit breezy.

Worked on the roof of Tesco Gallows corner for a while until the A/C unit I was working on took a door and me for a 12' flight! (nowhere near the edge fortunately)

Coming home was much worse, the M11 was still closed and all the trafic off there was stuck in the country roads....

Still it only took 3 hours to do a 1 hour journey!

A slight balmy breeze, but nothing more. Treid checking out the news to see the chaos back in Blighty, but all they're talking about is feckin big brother...I'm off to surf the BBC weather pages..

Looks like business as usual for the weekend though. This is the local forecast for Saturday afternoon. Not bad for January

Still fine in Aberdeen , after reading this and the news it's one of the few times I'm happy with the weather up here.

Thank goodness for that as I have to fly offshore first thing in the morning and I do hate hanging around the heliport if the flights are delayed. Supposed to be a lot of storms up here over the weekend though, might be back in Sat or Sunday but if the weathers lousy I'll stay out there for a bit for me Sunday Lunch

I was at an outside exhibition today and the wind lifed a portal alloy framed 300ft marquee into the air about 100ft and deposited it on a pavillion and some people

Fire crews/ambulances etc to sort out the injured

Very scary

I know it's a few days ago now - but I came out to go to the shop on thursday evening, thought to myself 'I'll have a look at the GS before I go' and found the bike on it's side having been blown over!!! God really hates me...
