HP2 Bars

Hi Guys

Have just ordered some handle bars from Wunderlich despite their advert saying they are the same size as the original ones they are not... see extract from email from them:-

"the dimension of the original bar is 77,8 cm width and 19,8cm
high. Part-no. 1624565 is has a width of 79,5 cm and a height of 12,0cm, so
it is a little bit lower than the original.

This gives a more aggressive stance, better for off road. we can only supply
these bars. "

has anyone use lower bars? What are they like....

I haven't used lower bars but the most common thing I hear people doing is putting risers on their bikes. So unless you're not very tall, it doesn't sound ideal.

the amount of people investing in bar risers is incedible!
the magura bars on the hp2 are the highest fat bars i have seen

Probably relating to the diameter.

And yes, you need higher bars for trail riding.

I do not remember who makes the bars right now but it was discussed in earlier forums. I called direct and they offer the the handlebar. I will try to find the name..............Richard

Thnaks for the offer Richard but have been looking for a while with no luck.... magura makes the bars but as far as I know just for BMW..... at £153!!! Just bought them yesterday...... Cheers
