I'm thinking about fitting HP2 Enduro cylinder guards to my 1200GS. Will they fit on OK with the GS engine protection bracket fitted? The gap around the front of the left-hand cylinder looks a bit tight.

I've got the offroad guards on my HP2 they are the same, very similar as 1200GSA guards from what I can see...

These are the ones with wings to cover the sensors and all that stuff...

Funny you should ask,

Heres my Take on how they should be.

why not just fit the 1200adv ones?

I've got the adventure ones on there at the moment, but I've heard some scarey stories about them mashing up the cylinder-head mounting points when you have a bit of a spill.

So, I was thinking that maybe if I fitted the plastic HP protectors, they would take the brunt of any impact, and may get scuffed in the process, but would save the cylinder covers, and importantly, be less likely to damage the cylinder-heads.

I'm not sure on this one at the moment, so I'm just sort of checking it out.

And I do quite like that they extend back to cover over the injector valves.
