HP2 Enduro For Sale

Here we go - I actually thought I had posted it in this section last night but must have been mistaken.

I'm thinking of letting my HP2 go as its not getting the use as I still have too many bikes. I really like the bike but you can just have too many bikes and my 1150 is the one I generally use when out riding with groups which is what I do in the main.

Its on an 06 plate and has approx 6k miles on it. I fitted an Ohlin shock on the rear (because I could) and it currently has a Leo Vince pipe on it. Other extras are white lenses, Wunderlich exhaust protectors and Wunderlich heel protectors near the foot pegs to stop the paint getting scratched.
I will put a new rear tyre on it as its about due and i'm looking for £7950 with Ohlin shoch and leo Vince pipe (And originals) or £7500 without. I also have a new Odessey battery for it which I havn't got round to fitting.

edit: I forgot it also has heated grip (very rare on an HP") and a Puig screen. The buyer gets first dibs on the BMW tank bag and tail pack too

Free bump. This is my old bike and it goes like stink. The screen, a Puig fitted by Bluesweeper makes a huge difference to distance riding. A bike you buy with your heart.

Been there and done that and glad I didn't sell mine........!

HP2 Enduro's are uncomfortable, impractical, expensive, problematic with regard to the sidestand switch and front forks but mostly they are FANTASTIC......!

Dont do it 'fool' as BA Barracus would say.
I almost sold mine when I came back from the alps on it and thought 'I need a GS again'. So I went to look at an 1150 adv about 50 miles away. put my SM wheels in and set off to do a deal.............

by the time I got there i realised i was riding the best bike ever made and wouldn't have swopped it for anything.
now I feel silly for even considering such a Foolish thing.

go ride it for a few hours...............!

To answer so many people, I still have for sale my HP2. It hasn't moved a jot since I posted the original as I have been using my other bikes and working far to much. I really can't justify having it if its not getting used so I will be selling it - there decision made

Hi Ricardo,
as Mav has mentioned you can't send or recieve pm's unless you area site sponsor. You should join the site as its a world of information on HP2's, BMW boxers and literally anything as well. I'm currently working offshore for another week but if you drop me a pm I will get back to you. There is one other keen to buy it also. I will make more of an effort to sell it when I get home as it is just not getting used as it should be.

Twice the bike?

Sure the MM is a better on the road than an Enduro with SM rims... but twice as good? And, without significant work, it's not really suitable for dirt.

Doesn't seem like twice the bike to me
