Just did 2000Km's last week (two days), that seat (saddle) has to go...... Any tried and trusted suggestions??????

For 2000km per two days you seriously ought to get 1100/1150GS stock or 1200 with a modded comfort seat :rob

HP2 Enduro is for few hundred KMs per day, mostly standing on the footpegs, NOT siting, in the extremely fast offroad conditions to have the correct application for all the 115Nm of torque. :thumb2

For hundred KMs per day in very slow and technical offroad you ought to get some Yammie WR250F or Suzie DRZ400 or something like that tho... :)

Look in to Renazco seats - everyone who's had one seems to rave about them :thumb2

Not sure I agree with you Tsiklonaut... although I normally do, I regularly do a few hundred miles - sitting down! The bike is very capable for that kind of work without taking anything away from it's ability as a great enduro bike.

I also like to ride it off-road standing up  Although I am a long way from riding it like those guys at Erzburg do :o

Wunderlich also do a version of an ergo seat.

I've riden mine to the lakes and back it's alright just don't go too fast for long distances and it's fine. But the seat can be abit:eek:

Tis funny. Sometimes the seats uncomfortable after only 75 miles (commute) but then can do 300 miles (Princetown) with only fuel stops and is fine
So I don't worry about it.

I also find mine ok for a 250 mile trail riding day :thumb2

I have a Renazco on order........i have heard all good things about them.:clap I will get it towards the end of January, i will report back on how it is.

I did a 2000KM 22 hour run on my GS1150 a few years back from Singapore to Bangkok. This would be impossible I think on the HP2. I was almost crying with pain last week after only 1000KM! I have tried contacting AQ as I think they do a saddle, and I will contact Renzaco and report back. Many thanks for your comments.....

BTW, I am still walking like somebody shoved a can of paint up my arris!:blast

Ahhh, a visa run.
Better go to Laos its closer.

I picked up my hp2 from berlin, and rode back to London.
Had the lower seat too!

Better stick with the regular seat, lower the suspension its much more comforatble. Still had a sore arse though.
