HP2 Oil consumption

....erm - isn't it supposed to use oil at some point, after all it is a boxer

< .25 litres in 6000kms

Has anyone else noticed this or am I just one of the lucky ones?

I've not topped mine up as yet and ive done2000 miles on it

Was also expecting to use a bit more but only topped up with around 300ml over the first 6000 miles, pretty good for a boxer I think

Is this much different to the more agricultural 1200's, it is certainly a bit better than the old 1150 engine.

I've not had to top my oil up in over 3k miles - 1200GS.

I use to check mine all the time cos of my 1150 but have not bothered in 6 months plus.

My old 1200GSA didn't use any for 6000 miles, then it used shed loads for about 6000 miles, then stopped using any again after 12,000 miles All very strange indeed!

Just stuck about 150ml in mine after 4.5k!
