HP2 Original Bars

Hi Guys,

Can you let me know who makes the original bars on a HP2? As I thought mine have been changed and when riding stood up are way too low....

bar risers are the answer I think the bars are magura made or supplied as OEM.

problem the standard 1200 risers don't fit they need machining down so they don't foul the tank... you may also need a bar brace as well.

hope that helps if need be can post a picture of my setup.

touratech make good bar raisers.
I got a set from the us that include a Steering damper mount. tis wonderful.

sorted, they are Magura Ax - line and I quote....

"The AX-line has the
same dimensions as the original, but weighs 1 KG less. It has
improved ability to absorb shocks and vibrations, which in
turn reduces the stress and pressure on the wrist joints and
upper body. Even BMW recognised this fact and has this bar
fitted as standard on the new Adventure. Can be fitted with
original end weights and heated grips without modifications.
Very fine silver shot peening surface finish. TÜV approved.

AX-line 778 x 198 mm (same as original)
EX-line 795 x 120 mm"

another £100 no wonder the bloody thing was cheap......
