HP2 Tank Bag - how does it fit??

hey chaps...

I am fairly new on the HP2.

Got an HP2 tank bag with the bike (second hand) and I can't really see an obvious way to secure the back of the tank bag on the tank,

there is a rubber coated hook but not sure where that hooks into.

I suspect I may be missing some kind of strap or something.. any ideas? - photos?

Checked with the dealer but couldn't help just by looking at the accessory schematic..

You are missing the rear mounting tang.
It uses the tank rear fixing screw.
The part is very clear in the parts diagram:

Avro is spot on and the rubber loop at the front goes round the lip at the front of the petrol tank. I'm suprised if you bought the bike and tank together that the rear strap is not fitted unless its tucked under the seat and you havn't spotted it!!

thank you all for your help..

it seems I am missing the rear tank attachment..

although I have what I thought it was a spare strap.!

...I checked the seat and the area under and around the tank but I couldn't see anything..

surely the dealer can supply me with the appropriate BMW original equipment for a fee..!!
