They already are a classic.

Great question

I certainly think all the HP2 variants (E, MM & Sport) will become classics, if they're not already. Each in their own field are dynamically very good, and low production numbers will ensure scarcity on the used market.

Which will be the most sought after in 10 years???

Despite the highest production numbers, clean, unmolested, unabused Enduro's will be a rarity I think.

But, there are twice as many E's as MM's so nice MM's will be rare too.

I think either the MM or the E's will be the hardest to find in clean un-molested condition. I suspect low mileage, mint Sport's will be the easiest to find eventually.

Also, sports bikes evolve and move on. I think the MM and E will stand the test of time better as stand alone pieces.

So, with no bias as I own one , I think the MM, mainly because of the low numbers, and the likelihood of finding a minter.

I think prices will come down before they go up, but I don't think they'll ever be cheap.

Not sure the MM's will get much cheaper relatively speaking, I just bought mine, 18 months old one previous owner only 3500 miles £8500. I am very pleased.

I'm keeping mine.
I think the enduro is the classic pick of the bunch, They will be protected by their owners who will be willing to sell body parts rather than let someone else get their grubby hands on them.
although mine is for sale at the right price, as are my kidneys and testicles, thankfully nobody can afford any of them.

The MM is the one i'd own if I had the dosh, because it would make the most sense for the riding that i do.

The Sport is a sports bike and like you say Joe I think it'll date more over time.

I'd like to buy the E if I could but i'd feel a fraud because I wouldn't ever go off road with it which is why I'd end up with an MM.

I do think the E will be the one longterm though because its got a timeless ruggedness and 'edge' about it somehow where as the MM is just a little bit more of a bauble somehow and if you do have one of the rare 'minter than mint' E's then it'll be worth a few bob..........IMHO

I think they will be sought after. Like the gb500 honda. Here in the states they couldn't give them away. Now they sell for more then when they were new. I know that when I became aware of the hp2's existence I had one parked in the garage the next day. 22,000 miles and no regrets. Richard.

I have four of them! One only has 300 miles on the clock, is totally standard and I am mothballing it!

4? Only Four! Humph I've got 10 - 3 in storage and one each for shopping, touring, racing, Pike's Peak, RTW, Dakar and Xmas presents delivery! Just can't have enough of those HP2s! Nice allround bike.
