guys i understand this question has been asked a few times but bear with me.

Apart from the engines being slightly diferent, what would be the problem changing a mm to an enduro. As far as i see, you would need to change suspension front and back, get some woody's wheels 18/21. Add a hpn tank and a screen. Am i missing something?

Oh and buy the way, there was a pic of some bloke's bike from italy or spain with a tank he had made for himself , i couldnt find it on the site could any one tell me what page it was on. thanks mike

Why would you want to do that when you can probably find a low mileage enduro for sale while there arent many used MMs yet and doing that stuff toa new MM gets pretty price prohibitive

I think you'd find it easier to change the other way around - as fixinbones states, Enduros are a little easier to find. More importantly - by changing the suspension, you mean getting new forks (as there is not enough travel in the MM for off-road playing) which is not going to be cheap. While there are many people who've ridden the Enduros as road bikes and maybe just put in stiffer springs and heavier oil - a much cheaper and easier job.

PS: Are the engines different? If so, in what way?

i read in adv that the mm engine is an RT. and well, the hp2e is a hp2e.
I know one thing for sure, the mm engine has more get up and go and doesnt have the twichy pia throttle that seems to only be fixed by getting rid of the cat, or at least that was how it was on mine.

the reason im thinking like this is that the oz govt is giving a 50% one off tax deduction for small business this year on any equipment purchases ie motor vehicles and any stuff used in your biz. That would make a mm around 12,000 here and the price of ohlins front and back, a hpn tank, 18/21 wheels, full ackra system, renazo seat, screen seem a proposition. This way i get to own a hp2 with oz compliance.......just thinking......

Mav did u remember the dude who made his tank for the hp2, he was italian or spanish i think, i cant find the post.
