Hp2E rear indicators

Apparently I need to change the rear indicators for slighter smaller ones because i am fitting pannier rails. any advice considering the Canbus issue etc. ?

I have the touratech 12GS indicators on mine. The work with the CANBUS but they haven't been hugely reliable - the contact with the bulb isn't the best leading to intermitment working... (the rear left isn't working right now :-( ) But they are a lot smaller and are mounted on flexible stalks.

I have small flexible ones from a Gas Gas on mine they work fine.

LED indicators from GS1200?

has anyone tried to fit the LED indicators (those thin ones..) from the later GS1200 model in an HP2 E ..

does it work?.. I remember asking a BMW dealer once, said that they wouldn't work but I was not convinced.. anyone tried ??

Is a straight plug and play swop.
