spot light !?

hey Dopra

I like the spot light on your HP2,

is it Touratech auxiliary. xenon?
or
a Hella Micro DE fog converted to xenon?

how does it attach to the bars?

I bought bike with this HID, but this is not the Touratech, on the lamp is "HELLA", in my opinion this is independent processing.

Dopra your bike looks really nice with those carbon fibre bits. I like the screen. Do you have any shots of the screen and instrument panel setup. It looks like you have moved everything onto a different frame :nenau

Hi Maverick
I think you will find Dopra's 'LARGE' front screen and auxillary brackets at http://holan.pl/en/index.
I fitted the small screen nice and simple good carbon

Dopra totally off thread but what tires are you running (front andrear) and how are they off road
Struggling to find a decent 17" rear tire for the Airheads :nenau we were running Deserts till they stopped that fitment :blast Bastedos

Also need to replace the HP2 Rear on the 17" rim

I have HPN tank and original (small) oil cooler, I changed the front fender.

Dopra, why did you use the stock oil cooler. Did you have problems with the HPN one? Was it very difficult to fit in that space with the given feeder/return lines?

Reason for asking, is that i have had endless problems with my oilcooler from HPN. No matter what i do it keeps getting hot, and only on motorway speeds.

Would be interested to hear how you have made it work.

Front is Pirelli MT21 RallyCross, very good tire off road (but You have too change pressure for 1,8 - 1,9 bar)
Rear is Mitas E09 Dakar (very hard tire, I have problem only on road when is raining)

I bought tank without oil cooler (used), I little changed the oil coller and lines.

I do not have any problem with hot (4-5 line on display), but I had to cut my front fender,

my hpn cooler runs 5 bars on normal city riding (slow stuff - up to 100kph) but when i start to pick up the pace (140 - 160kph) it goes to 7 bars. :nenau

so we had the cooler pressure tested, changed the thermostat and oil temp sensor. still the problem persists.

had a talk to a couple of guys here wrt their coolers and most of them haven't had any problems, one guy never even modified his fender and not a days problems.

i am at an end with this problem now, so my next solution is to recore the hpn cooler

So does the HP2 run cooler with the oil cooler in this position?

YES, no problem

or
Is it more to do with protection of the oil cooler, with the oil cooler in this position?

I have HPN tank and I don't have place for oil cooler on left side.

I rode with this oil cooler in this position about 2000 km, and a never had more than 5 line on display.

*URGENT HELP REQUIRED*

I commenced installation of the tank last night
Everything went okay except for the last piece of the puzzle (?)
I need help on the routing for the crossover fuel line, and the method by which it connects into the female coupling coming off the tank (down the LHS of the bike, I believe)
With the small amount of fuel line, and the tightness of the connection, I was wondering if i've done something wrong?
Any help (and photos please) greatly appreciated !!

Thanks in advance !

HP2 HPN tank thingy

Im totally impressed with your tank conversion and saving up to buy one myself. Like the KTM fairing idea as well.
Also the seat grommet on mine also went missing....

Regards Ping :hide

Oziexplora,
sorry mate i totally missed your question about the fuel lines.:blast I presume you sorted it.

Ping,
If you do get a tank I'd be more than happy to ride over and give you a hand fitting it. I'm no expert but always easier if you've done it before.:nenau
mine was number 285 so there are a few out there now, never seen one second hand on ebay though.
so far no problem with temp, I'm of to the picos and alpes for 2 weeks on Weds so see how it goes.
