I have ordered the W702BS this evening. There is a discount code MERRY30 which brings the price down to £240 so I thought I would give it a try.

Ive just come from Garmin XT2. In fact over 30 years a Garmin fanboy. The Carpuride, well, any unit that uses Andriod Auto, Apple carplay is a game changer. Carpuride fir me is better, as it has the 7" screen..... also, the BS version now is fully controlled by the sekection wheel, where the XT isnt.

Car Play/Android Auto is very useful on a bike.
If you want compatibility with the BMW whizz wheel, then you need this 702 BS or the Chigee AIO5 BMW.
The 702 has a bigger screen and is a bit cheaper but the Chigee is a higher quality product with much nicer casing/better screen etc. But only 5”,which is plenty big enough for most.
If you don’t need whizz wheel compatibility then I’d go for the Aoocci C6 Pro.Its got a 6” screen, comes with front and rear cameras, TPMS etc and around £130 all in which is a bargain .

I agree about the quality of the Chigee. I bought a Carpuride 702 with the BMW mount from a fellow tosser but just recently the screen has become unresponsive, weirdly only on the CarPlay screen. It’s running the latest firmware & otherwise seems ok but not being able to use most of the CarPlay controls from the screen is a royal pita. So I bought a Chigee AO5-again from a fellow tosser-that works with the whizzy wheel. It is a better quality product & does so much more than the Carpuride. Yes the screen is noticeably smaller but I’m using it for navigation & not watching a film! I also like that you can update the Chigee wirelessly whereas with the Carpuride you had to email them, get a link & download the update to a card etc.
Hopefully the Chigee will prove more durable than the Carpuride. .
The new Carpuride sounds better than its predecessor with full integration with the whizzy wheel now. I wonder if updates can be done wirelessly now too?

The new BS 702 is now perfect. For me INHO

Mine got despatched on Friday.. got an upgrade deal with 40% off so seemed rude not to! You should definitely not pay any more than 30% off list. I have the non integrated one, moving from the BMW navigator. I prefer the Carpuride for all benefits CarPlay brings, but was surprised how much I missed the wonder wheel integration! Will be interesting to see how well it works. I do wonder why BMW dont just bite the bullet and add CarPlay support to their navigator.. just seems dumb to me

Typical, I wanted to order this today as with MERRY35 discount it's down to £217 delivered to UK.
I've got the Galaxy S20, so no go unfortunately. Anyone that has it, does it work fully with the whizzy wheel as one review says it doesn't work with all the functions on it?

Hopefully not too much longer. It's a cracking price for what looks a great bit of kit. Don't think I'll get a new phone to go with it though, that kinda defeats the object

Sold my 702B so destitute had an iPhone 12 with that worked perfectly, if you need reliant navigation then MRA solves that with its offline facility
