Tried to order a wunderlich hugger for 08 gsa. Out of stock until May!
Anyone know if there is another one i can get. Quite fancy the pyramid Plastics one but not sure whether it fits the 08 gsa with esa?

Pyrmaid Hugger

Did you manage to get a hugger?

Don`t mess about just get a Mudsling :thumb2 They do fit an ESA equipped bike

+1 for the Mudsling, never impressed with the Pyrmaid as they attached to the rear caliper and can cause problems.

And another for the Mudsling. I also got a rear fender extender and got rid of the OEM rear mudflap thingy and this has stopped all the crap on the roads ending up on my or my passangers back.

+ for the Mudsling. Had a Wunderlich Carbon on my GS but it's no use for my GSA as the new bike has ESA. To date ,4 weeks, all weathers -does the job nae bother, cheaper, fits in 5 minutes.:clap The only thing, and it is only minor - it attaches to the part of the frame I used to grab when I was putting the bike on the centre stand.

another big +1 for the mudsling, unless that it you just like the look of a hugger on what is a rugged off road looking bike!

I rode through last winter with a mudsling fitted. It probably cuts down on the amount of crap hitting me, but didn't seem to do much for the bike. 60 mile round trip to work and back and the bike is filthy, numberplate almost unreadable, rear lights badly obscured and a thick layer of crud over the frame and swingarm. This probably contributed to the rust which is now present on the frame (which I am still trying to get resolved with BMW, but that's another story!).

I haven't tried a hugger but I was thinking about it for next winter since the bike doesn't seem to be at all corrosion resistant. But does a hugger keep the bike any cleaner than the mudsling does?
