Hi Folks

Just picked up my 1200 LC ADV, to find it has a hugger fitted already. What’s the collected wisdom on whether to keep that or remove it and fit my mudsling?

I don’t think they’ll both fit!

Ah - they do both fit, just. I think I’ll keep em both.

Keep them both and fit Puig infill panels if you want to stop crap going all over you and the bike, I have all three, the infill panels are the best for keeping you clean and the mudsling the best at keeping the shock clean, the hugger does the least.

Chinese Mudsling on mine... just as good as the expensive branded version at a quarter of the price. :thumb2

I bought chinese mudsling but when fitting I found it was very close to swingarm and didn't fit it as I dont want it to rub the paint off of the swingarm. Did you fit yours ok?
Any pictures?

Thanks

Ian

The front mudguard has a cheapo mudsling copy, which frankly isn’t quite as well finished, but will do the job just as well.

On the rear the hugger/genuine mudsling combo works really well.
