Hugger or Mudslinger for GS800

Looking to put either a rear hugger or one of those Mudslingers on my new
GS800 (Farkle) both available from Nippys any info on which is better, what have you got on yours.

I thought that the hugger could get clogged up too easily when playing off the tarmac, so went for the mudsling.

I was looking for something to keep the crud off of the suspension, not keep the rest of the bike clean.
