Can anybody tell me witch is the best hugger for my 05 R1200GS. There are alot on the market, the prices seem to vary and some of the fittings look abit "Heath Robinson".

Hi Mark, what you need is a mudsling from nippy normans. I was out yesterday along some dirty muddy roads and can say it kept me cleaner than my other hugger had. Don`t get one to keep the bike clean, it won`t, but it will keep your left leg and boot dryer and cleaner and also protect the rear shock and battery area

Mudslings have a good reputation but before you decide, check out BestRest's Spraystopper. Easy to fit, comprehensive protection. I've recommended these so often I ought to be on commission. Whatever you do, son't waste your time and money on a pyramid hugger!
