.....fitted and no problems or so I thought ! Noticed small streak of oil coming from the plug I fitted as part of the fitting kit (Its the one on the main shaft housing).Checked with BMW Park Lane and they confirmed the hole is or rather should be just a fixing point for the rear mudguard/deflector (now removed in favour of hugger). The oil was leaking down onto the wheel so thought I best mention it in case anyone has the same peoblem,I have removed the plug and refitted the screw so hopefully that will sort it !!!!!

I just went out and checked mine with a toothpick (removed the mud guard long ago) and the hole doesn't go all the way through.

Interesting.

Help please

I asked this on another thread so sorry for repeating.

How do you get the long bolt spiggot off without breaking it?

Can't find English fitting instuctions for the TT part on the US site and don't want to shear it off as others have done.

Bit thick I know.

Thanks, Skippy

Sorted

Get on yer knees with a torch and you'll see it's attached via the rear calliper mounting bolt.

Doh!

Skippy.
